You have to fully comprehend the idea that food is fuel. Sure, everyone understands this on a basic level. But do you really understand and accept what that means? Food as fuel means food is not pleasure, or comfort, or distraction. Its sole purpose is to make your body function as best as it possibly can, and junk food can never do that. Your body deserves better than that. So next time you pick up something to eat, no matter what it is, just ask yourself,”What will this do for my body?” and be honest with yourself. You’ll suddenly start seeing food differently.
